The SER8, SER9, and SER10 MAX deliver strong performance, but internal storage expansion is limited by available M.2 slots. The Mate SE provides a convenient alternative, adding up to 16TB of NVMe storage across two independent PCIe 4.0 x2 slots through a single 80Gbps USB-C connection — without opening your mini PC.

Its 80Gbps interface offers approximately twice the bandwidth of conventional 40Gbps USB4 and Thunderbolt 3 connections, reducing potential bottlenecks when transferring large files or working with fast NVMe drives. This makes it particularly useful for content creators, video editors, and professionals managing extensive media libraries or project archives.

Beyond storage, the Mate SE adds an SD 4.0 card reader for transferring photos and video footage, two USB-A 3.0 ports for peripherals, and a dedicated 2.5GbE Ethernet connection for reliable wired networking. Low-power devices operate directly through the host connection, while an external USB-C PD adapter can support more demanding hardware.

Two 80Gbps-rated USB-C to USB-C cables are included, with an in-box cable specifically fitted for SER8 and SER9 Pro systems. For SER9 MAX and SER10 MAX configurations, ensure the selected cable supports the full 80Gbps connection speed.
